The International Health Care Service (IHCS) is the only travel health facility affiliated with a prestigious metropolitan hospital and academic medical college. It offers pre- and post-travel consultations and care in tropical medicine and infectious diseases. IHCS is staffed by NYPH physicians board-certified in infectious diseases who provide travel advice and immunizations for 4,500 persons annually.
IHCS is the only service of this type providing care to children as well as adults.
