Dr. Panagos is an Assistant Attending Physiatrist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is a member of the Spine Center team and specializes in Sports and Spine Medicine. He is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Panagos' philosophy centers on a multidisciplinary team approach to the prevention and treatment of most spinal problems. Working with an outstanding team of neurosurgeons, physical therapists and other practitioners, he focuses on education, and the use of minimally invasive approaches in evaluating and treating spinal conditions. His primary goals are to maximize function and quality of life despite often severe, neurologic or orthopedic conditions. Dr. Panagos believes in utilizing the most advanced practices and techniques and is a member of several scientific organizations including the International Spinal Injection Society, Physiatric Association for Sports, Spine and Occupational Rehabilitation and the American College of Sports Medicine.
