Dr. Arthur J. Spielman obtained his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1979 from The City University of New York. He spent a year of clinical internship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then joined the Sleep-Wake Disorders Center of Montefiore Medical Center, Department of Neurology. He was promoted to Co-Director of the Sleep-Wake Disorders Center and Clinical Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Spielman has been associated with a number of institutions including, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Department of Geriatrics, Adjunct Associate Professor; Danbury Hospital, Sleep Disorders Center, Director of Education and Research; New York Methodist Hospital, Sleep Disorder Center, Associate Director; and The City University of New York, Department of Psychology, Professor.
