Bhupesh Parashar, M.D, is a board certified radiation oncologist who with faculty appointments at both New York-Presbyterian Hospital and New York Hospital Queens. Dr. Parashar is appointed as Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University Following research fellowships at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr Parashar completed his residency training at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of medicine where he also served as Chief Resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology. His clinical specialties are head and neck, lung, breast, prostate and GI cancers. He has extensive training in HDR Brachytherapy (tongue, head and neck, esophagus, cholangiocarcinoma, sarcomas, prostate, cervix, neck, mammosite), Image Guided Radiation Therapy, IMRT and Stereotactic Radiosurgery, He has also been involved in numerous clinical studies and has an extensive publication record in both clinical and basic science research. He is also involved in teaching and mentoring residents and medical students.
