Dr. Phariss is Medical Director of the The Midtown Center for Treatment and Research, Weill/Cornell's premier outpatient substance abuse treatment center. He has earned sub-specialty credentialing in Addiction Psychiatry and has expertise providing psychotherapy and psychopharmacology for many psychiatric disorder. For the Department of Psychiatry, Dr. Phariss coordinates the addiction psychiatry curriculum for second and third year residents. Dr. Phariss also maintains a private practice in general psychiatry, psychotherapy and addiction medicine.
