Dr. Crawford received his undergraduate degree in 1996 from Georgetown University. He received his MD in 2001 from Yale University School of Medicine and completed a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellowship in Genetics and Molecular Biology in 1999. He subsequently completed internship and residency training in Internal Medicine in 2004 at the New York Presbyterian Hospital ? Weill Cornell Campus. He spent the following year studying the effects of dietary components in cancer prevention under support from the NIH. He has completed his fellowship in GI in 2008 at Weill Cornell Campus.
