Dr. Nanus is an internationally recognized leader in the treatment and care of patients with all types of genitourinary cancers, including prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer and testicular cancer. He has been the Medical Director of the Genitourinary Oncology Program at Weill Cornell since coming from Memorial SLoan-Kettering Cancer Center in 1998, developing a multidisciniplary program for patient care as well as state of the art clinical research.

Dr. Nanus is also the clinical chief of the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Weill Cornell. The Division consists of over 30 physicians and nurse practicioners, caring for patients with all types of cancers, as well as patients with non-malignant blood disorders. "The goal of the Division is to provide our patients with outstanding patient care while offering them the most advanced treatments available through clinical research trials", says Dr. Nanus.
