Erik J. Kobylarz, M.D., Ph.D. received his bachelor of science degree at the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science, then his medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and his doctorate in biomedical engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth College. He completed an internship in internal medicine, a residency in neurology and a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He underwent further fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology and intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring at The New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center. He is certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. His major subspecialty interests include neurophysiology, epilepsy, electroencephalography, neuro-ophthalmology and intraoperative monitoring and he actively performs research in these fields.
