The Westchester Division General Adult Psychiatry Practice encompasses family services, couple therapy, individual therapy, and schizophrenia. The division provides services such as the eating disorder unit and the child development & adult psychiatry unit.



Primary diagnoses in treatment include mood and anxiety disorders bipolar disorders, personality disorders, adjustment reactions, adult attention deficit disorders, relational disturbances.
Physicians give consultations to the hospitalized, and work with the non-psychiatric physicians and staff. Psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, and pharmacology treatments for mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders in adults are combined in the outpatient practice.



The Eating Disorder Program is a twenty-bed inpatient unit, with a partial hospitalization program and an outpatient department. Private consultations and private individual and family therapy for eating disorders are provided.



The child development & adult psychiatry unit specializes in children and adolescents with mood, anxiety disorders, attention deficit, and personality disorders. The emphasis of the treatment is placed on the correct applications of psychotherapy and psychopharmacology.
