Horatio F. Wildman, M.D. has been appointed Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Assistant Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Wildman received his Bachelor of Science with Honors from Duke University. He pursued his medical training at the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he earned the medical school?s Award for Clinical Excellence.
Dr. Wildman completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. His dermatology residency was also in Washington at George Washington University Hospital where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. During his training he presented at the American Contact Dermatitis Society?s annual meeting. He has also lectured on Sports Dermatology as part of the undergraduate Athletic Training Course. Dr. Wildman?s research has included studying the effect of tumor necrosis factor antagonists on bone turnover in patients with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
Dr. Wildman?s practice focuses on medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He has a particular interest in psoriasis including treatments with phototherapy and biologic agents. He is also interested in pigmented lesions and the early detection of melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers.
Dr. Wildman provides aesthetic therapies such as Botox and injectable fillers, including Restylane and Radiesse. He also provides laser therapy for the treatment of broken blood vessels, age spots (solar lentigenes), and hair removal.
