Dr. Sander is Associate Director of the Peripheral Neuropathy Center, with expertise in Electrodiagnostic Medicine (EMG). The center provides office consultation, Electrodiagnostic services, and treatment for patients with Generalized Peripheral Neuropathy, Focal Neuropathy, Radiculopathy, Myopathy, and other Neuromuscular disorders.

Dr. Sander joined Cornell after serving as Vice-Chairman of Neurology and Director of the Neuromuscular Service at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York. He is Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College, and Adjunct Associate Professor of Neurology at New York University School of Medicine.

He received his MD degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn (Downstate). He then completed a Neurology Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, and a fellowship in Neuromuscular disorders and Electromyography at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He holds board certificates in: Neurology; Clinical Neurophysiology; Electrodiagnostic Medicine; Pain Management; Pain Medicine; and Neuroimaging.
