Dr. Jessica Daniels is an attending physician on the Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison Service. In this position, she supervises medical students and residents who perform psychiatric consultations throughout the general medical hospital.
Dr. Daniels also serves as a liaison to the cardiac transplant service, performing evaluations for patients in preparation for heart transplants and treating patients with both psychiatric and cardiac problems.
In her outpatient practice, Dr. Daniels specializes in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy for people with medical illnesses. As a graduate of the Psycho-oncology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital, she has a special expertise in treating psychiatric problems that can arise in people diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Daniels also has considerable experience in treating people diagnosed with hepatitis C, neurologic, rheumatologic, and cardiac disease.
Dr. Daniels is also involved in teaching medical student classes at Weill Cornell Medical College.
