Dr. Joseph F. Murray is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Scranton, where he majored in Biology, English, and Philosophy. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1995. He completed an internship at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. He completed his residency in Psychiatry at the Payne Whitney Clinic of the New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Murray has worked as an Assistant Attending Psychiatrist at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital's Center for Special Studies since 1999. The Center for Special Studies is a multi-disciplinary clinic for the treatment of HIV/AIDS.
