Dr. Ho, an Associate Professor of Medicine and of Microbiology,has been affiliated with New York Weill Cornell since 1987. From 1999-2001, he was also a Visiting Scientist at the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center, which is affiliated with The Rockefeller University, an affiliate institution. In addition to a limited consultative practice, Dr. Ho teaches at the Weill Medical College and heads a research team conducting basic studies on host-pathogen interactions focusing on evasion mechanisms posed by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Leishmania, and HIV-1. Dr. Ho is interested in, knowledgeable about, and practices infectious diseases, with a specific focus in tropical medicine, travel medicine prevention and immunizations. His particular interests also include potential infectious disease cases that have been diagnostic challenges. He has published research articles in many peered reviewed journal and chapters in medical text books.
