Dr. Kizer specializes in the cardiac, vascular and hematologic evaluation of arterial embolism, and especially, cryptogenic stroke. He brings particular expertise in echocardiography to bear on the assessment of this phenomenon. Dr. Kizer also has a clinical and research interest in premature atherosclerosis and idiopathic venous thromboembolism, and in risk factors for these disorders.
