Dr. Turkowski is one of the physicians at the William Randolph Hearst Burn Center. His clinical expertise includes critical care, burn surgery, and burn reconstruction. He is involved in clinical and basic science research including wound healing, critical care as well as new techniques involving biological skin substitutes. Through research and better understanding of wound healing and scar formation, he hopes to benefit numerous individuals suffering from burn deformation and chronic wounds.
