As a Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Katherine Lynch specializes in cognitive-behavioral treatment of anxiety and depression in children, adolescents and adults. She conducts psychotherapy and assessment, as well as inpatient consultation, research and supervision. She received her B.A. from Wellesley College, her M.A. in Child Development from Tufts University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The University of Montana. After completing further training in the Department of Psychiatry at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY, she was Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Anxiety Disorders Clinic at Upstate Medical Center, a subspecialty clinic providing cognitive-behavioral treatment to children and adolescents struggling with various anxiety disorders. Prior to joining the faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College, she maintained a large private practice in Colorado.

She is available for diagnostic evaluation, consultation and psychotherapy. Her areas of clinical expertise include cognitive-behavioral treatment of child and adult anxiety disorders, such as OCD, phobias, panic disorder, separation anxiety and school-related anxiety. Dr. Lynch also has extensive experience in treating depression, ADHD, trauma, behavioral difficulties, parenting issues and family conflict. In addition, she is available for presentations and talks with teachers, parents and guidance and health personnel on the above topics.
