I am an Attending Physician in Neurology and Pediatrics and an Assistant Professor in the Division of Child Neurology at NewYork Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. I received my undergraduate degree (B.A.) from Wesleyan University and my medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Vermont. I completed my Pediatric residency training at Johns Hopkins University.
Following my residency, I joined the faculty at Johns Hopkins as an Instructor and, subsequently, as Assistant Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Pediatrics at The Johns Hopkins Hospital/Johns Hopkins University from 2004-2006. For the past three years, I have also been Co-Director of The Johns Hopkins Hospital Comprehensive Neurofibromatosis Center.
I am board certified in Neurology with special qualification in Child Neurology. My clinical interests include pediatric neuro-oncology and neurofibromatosis. My research interests focus on understanding the mechanism of brain tumor growth and devising novel treatment strategies for the treatment of brain tumors.
