Dr. Marshall Glesby is Co-Director of the Cornell HIV Clinical Trials Unit in the Division of International Medicine and Infectious Diseases at the Weill Cornell Medical College. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also has a Ph.D. in Clinical Investigation from the Johns Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health and is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases. Dr. Glesby?s primary research focus is metabolic complications of HIV disease and its therapy. He is active in the NIH-sponsored AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) and currently serves as a member of their Hepatitis Committee. He is also the Regional Clinical Director of the New York/New Jersey AIDS Education and Training Center (AETC) and the medical director of the Cornell AETC site of this consortium.


Dr. Glesby co-directs the Clinical Trials Design and Analysis course of the Weill Cornell K-30 funded Masters in Clinical Investigation program. He is an Assistant Editor of the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes. He also serves on the Weill Cornell Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB)and is a member of the Food and Drug Administration?s Antiviral Drugs Advisory Committee.
