Dr. Reidenberg's current research is focussed on issues of general interest to clinical pharmacology. Some of these include: barriers to the use of opioids for treating pain, issues related to the World Health Organization Essential Medicines program, differences in individual patients' responses to a medication, and problems individualizing drug therapy. Dr. Reidenberg's teaching activities focus on the teaching of clinical pharmacology to students at various levels in the College. His administrative activities include being Chairman of the Data Safety Monitoring Board and the Advanced Biomedical Science Committee. He is a member of the Medical Education Council and the Faculty Advisory Committee for the Students' Community Service Program. He is also Assistant Dean (Departmental Associates)and Program Chairman of the Departmental Associates of WMC.
