The Nuclear Cardiology Laboratory performs a variety of nuclear cardiovascular imaging studies including: exercise and pharmacological stress perfusion for the detection and management of coronary artery disease, resting and viability studies for the evaluation of myocardial viability, and resting and exercise radionuclide cineangiograms, (RNCA or MUGA studies). In addition, research protocols are ongoing for the evaluation of image quality improvement for the various tests performed.
