Dr. Rosen enjoys a well-deserved reputation as one of the finest breast pathologists in the world because of his diagnostic expertise and his many scholarly accomplishments in breast pathology.
Dr. Rosen received his MD from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and trained in pathology at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and at Memorial Hospital in New York. After serving 30 years in the Department of Pathology at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Dr. Rosen joined our Department in 1999 to devote all of his professional time to the diagnosis and investigation of breast disease.
He serves as Chief of Breast Pathology and personally directs the breast consultation service. Dr. Rosen has contributed more than 290 scientific articles to the literature. In addition, he co-authored the AFIP Fascicle on Tumors of the Mammary Gland and also wrote Rosen's Breast Pathology now in its second edition and Breast Pathology: Diagnosis by Needle Biopsy also in its secon edition.
Dr. Rosen is listed in "Best Doctors in America" and "Whos Who in the World".
