The Division of Child Neurology has a core of full-time board-certified child neurologists, supplemented by voluntary staff who together have a long history of providing excellence patient care for the inpatient and outpatient management of all child neurological problems. The staff includes physicians with a particular interest and expertise in pediatric epilepsy, headache, neuro-oncology, and metabolic disorders, as well as other diseases affecting infant and child brain development.

Under Dr. Kosofsky's leadership, the Division has expanded and is pioneering the use of high-resolution structural and functional brain imaging methods to better diagnose and monitor the treatment of our patients. By enabling such state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities for our patients, these research-based methods will serve to establish our division as one of the leading academic centers to advance the field of child neurology and developmental brain neuroscience.
