Dr. Patrick S. Perkins is a licensed Psychologist and Instructor of Psychology in Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with Honors and Distinction. He received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center and post-doctoral fellowships at Weill Cornell Medical College and the William Alanson White Institute. He is presently pursuing further training in Organizational Dynamics at the William Alanson White Institute.
Dr. Perkins' clinical practice focuses on the treatment of Depression and Anxiety through Psychodynamic and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). In addition, he provides career guidance and development, executive coaching, and works with individuals undergoing life and career transitions. He also offers personality testing and is a certified user of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.
