Dr. Rodrmguez del Pozo received both his medical and law degrees from Universidad Nacional de Csrdoba, in Argentina. He obtained his M.A. in bioethics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and his Ph.D. from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, in Spain, with a dissertation on justice in healthcare.
Dr. Rodrmguez del Pozo is an Assistant Professor, Division of Medical Ethics, in the Department of Public Health at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in Qatar (WCMC-Q).
Dr. Rodrmguez del Pozo has extensive international experience in researching and teaching bioethics. While his research has included a wide range of topics, Dr. Rodrmguez del Pozo has a particular interest in problems of justice and efficiency in the provision of healthcare, as well as the ethics of clinical research. He favors a cross-cultural approach, and his focus is now on the challenges of forging a transcultural bioethics.
