Dr. Nachman is presently the Lewis Thomas University Professor and Associate Dean for Clinical Research. He is the Director of the Institute for Clinical Research which provides an integrated framework of tools to support, advance, and promote the clinical research enterprise within WCMC.
His interest is in the field of vascular biology. He is nationally recognized for his expertise in hematologic disorders and in particular for the treatment of disorders of blood coagulation and platelet abnormalities. He formerly served as the Chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology and Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Weill Cornell.
