Scott Rodeo, M.D. is an orthopaedic surgeon clinician-scientist at The Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He specializes in sports medicine, shoulder, and knee injuries. He is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is the Associate Team Physician for the New York Giants Football team and Chairman of the USA Swimming Sports Medicine Committee. He combines a clinical sports medicine practice with basic science research on soft tissue repair, with particular interest in the management of complex knee injuries, including multi-ligament injury, meniscus and cartilage transplantation, as well as management of shoulder problems including rotator cuff injury and shoulder instability.
