Scott Rodeo, M.D. holds an appointment in the Research Division at The Hospital for Special Surgery, where he serves as the Principal Investigator in the Laboratory for the Soft Tissue Research. As a dedicated clinician-scientist, he strives to examine clinical problems in the laboratory and apply the findings to improve patient care. He conducts basic research in the areas of tendon-to-bone healing, the use of growth factors for augmentation of tendon healing, and meniscus transplantation. He frequently lectures nationally and internationally on these topics, and had published papers and book chapters in these areas.
