The Westchester Division Schizophrenia/Psychotic Disorders Practice is a division of the Department of Psychiatry which focuses on providing assessment and treatment of psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia.
Those afflicted with the illness usually cannot function self-sufficiently in day-to-day living. As a psychiatric illness that involves serious problems with thinking, feelings, and behavior, treatment of schizophrenia consists of therapy, medicines and skills training.
