I am an Instructor of Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Neurology, in the Department of Pediatrics, at Weill Cornell Medical College, and an Assistant Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. I received my medical degree (MBBS) from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College, Bombay University, in Maharashtra, India. I completed my pediatric residency training at Brooklyn Hospital Center, a fellowship in Pediatric Neurology at New York University School of Medicine, and a fellowship in Epilepsy at Weill Cornell Medical Center.
My research interests include the prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV/AIDS, and the use of Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GMCSF) in management of Neonatal Sepsis. I am board-certified in Neurology with special qualification in Child Neurology.
