Dr. Wenderoth served as a United States Peace Corps Disease Prevention Volunteer in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in West Africa as well as an investigator at the National Institutes of Health prior to medical school. After completing her residency, she worked in Long Island City, Queens for six years caring for a medically underserved population. She now sees patients at Cornell Internal Medicine Associates.
