My clinical career is devoted entirely to the care and intensive care of newborn infants, with special interests in pulmonary and nutrition issues. My research interests center on the application of information technology to clinical care of all patients.
I have been Medical Director for Information Services for NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital for the past 14 years. In this capacity, I have been involved with all types of issues ranging from bedside documentation and the development of clinical information systems to health care financing working with the New York State Department of Health.
