The Women's Wellness Practice of Payne Whitney-Manhattan provides evaluation and treatment of psychiatric disorders which affect women including post-partum depression, PMS, menopause, infertility and pregnancy issues.
Many psychiatric problems impact women far more than men. These include major depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and post-traumatic disorders secondary to rape, physical and sexual abuse and domestic violence. These issues, and others unique to women, are addressed and treated by physicians in the Women's Wellness Practice.
